COMAL MYSTERY

  COMAL AREA MYSTERY
Black Helicopters?
No, They're BLUE!
RG Griffing, SAL Commentary

Unusual helicopters have been spotted in the skies around Comal and neighboring counties in recent weeks.

Are they super-secret aircraft, aliens, or sinister tools of a New World Order?

One area cattle rancher, John Cores, has complained about helicopters scaring his herd. He doesn't seem to care if they are aliens, UN troopers, or whatever.

"I saw two of them hoovering above my stock tank. They're scaring the fat off my animals."

And in an odd twist, these helicopters are described as "very dark blue, with no obvious markings.

The mystery of the unidentified choppers has been fodder for many conspiracy theories.

A simple search of Google with the keywords "black helicopters" reveals more than 260,000 web pages devoted to the topic.

The government response is usually to paint those who report such incidents as the same folks who wear "tinfoil hats" to ward of mind control and flying saucers.

Of course, here in Texas, we have already seen proof that Black Helicopters exist.

In 1999 a major flap developed when the "Knightstalker exercises" invaded downtown Kingsville. It was Operation Last Dance.

From the Corpus Christi Caller-Times:

Army troops from Fort Bragg, N.C., conducted a practice operation that frightened unsuspecting residents and caused a fire in the abandoned former police station.

Officials said the exercise involved eight Apache helicopters, which flew low over town dropping off officers in a two-block area.

Garza said the exercises were part of urban environmental training for the Army, so they can learn to fight in urban situations.

Garza wouldn't go into further detail about the maneuvers.

"It was secret," he said. "I really can't talk a lot about it. But no one was hurt and that was the important thing."

Former San Antonio Chief of Police Al Philipus disclosed that a similar event had been planned for San Antonio, involving Army Delta Forces, but that Philipus said "no way," according to an interview published in World Net Daily.

"Then offers were made to give money, cash money to elected officials' charities if they could get us to change our minds. As one of my deputy chiefs said, in some circles, that's called bribery," Philipus said...

A confirmed exercise took place on Friday in the little town of Port Aransas. The mayor there claims he knew nothing of the exercise until it happened. Port Aransas Mayor Glenn Martin said he did not know what to say to the many angry residents who were calling to complain. Port Aransas is just outside Corpus Christi, and has a population of just over 2,000.

So, is the Army at it again?

Or as some believe, is it simply training helicopters that happen to be of a very dark color?

Or is it something more sinister?

Eye-witness John Cores is curious, of course, but he mainly wants his land and cattle left alone.

Anyone with further information on the situation around Comal and neighboring counties is invited to write the editor.

More to follow.
